This week was the WERC Americas Mobility Conference in Houston. For those of us in the relocation industry it is, among other things, a great opportunity to meet up with friends and colleagues from around the globe. My favorite part of the event actually happens before the official start of the conference. At each of the spring and fall WERC mobility conferences, it is a Dwellworks tradition to host a roundtable session with our local suppliers to get feedback from them on what they are experiencing in their market and to also share what is happening at Dwellworks.
Houston is one of our larger US markets, so we had a sizeable crowd. Despite everyone’s busy schedules and the pending conference, we were able to visit with our network partners from Appraisal, Destination Services, Intercultural Solutions and Property Management. Bob Rosing, Dwellworks’ CEO and President, as well as several members of our Global Account Management and Operations teams were on hand to meet our network members in person. I had the chance to update them on the activities currently happening across all of our Dwellworks offices and lines of business, which served as an opportunity for these partners to see how their activities in Houston fit into the larger picture of Dwellworks’ global service offerings. After my presentation we broke out into product specific groups and talked about market conditions that may be influencing their service delivery and shared insights on ongoing and upcoming process improvements.
It is always great to meet with our suppliers and hear their feedback, and this time was no different. I wanted to extend a big thanks to all of our Dwellworks partners in Houston who participated in the event!
