Tell us about your role with Dwellworks!
I’m just one member of the HR team but together we work on delivering a great employee experience for our associates. My role mainly focuses on our Europe and Asia locations. I try to focus on employee relations and creating a positive working environment, which in practice means that my day can include things as varied as recruitment, training, onboarding, HR systems, payroll, and compliance. I try to look at everything I do through the lens of diversity & inclusion as a way of focusing on how I can really embed these values into our day-to-day employee experience.
What’s an interesting fact about your daily job that people might not know about?
I’ve loved being able help grow the HR team from being US-based to having HR specialists onsite in 5 other global locations. The value of local knowledge isn’t just important for our clients; we also recognize how much of a difference it makes for our associates when they are able to speak with someone from HR who is based in their region and speaks their language.
Why Dwellworks?
I was lucky enough to get to know some of the Dwellworks leadership team when our professional paths crossed whilst I was working at another company. I was impressed with their inclusive approach and the way they really care about their people. So when I found out about the newly-created HR role in London, I applied for it – and am delighted to say that what it looked like from the outside really is the way it is on the inside!
