For our second installment, we’ve invited the wonderful Meghan Glynn, Corporate Housing Manager in Ireland, to tell us about her inspirational story at Dwellworks.
What do you love the most about your job?
I love that I am a part of a huge transition in people’s lives. Moving your entire life to a different country is not easy. And through Corporate Housing, I can be there to lend a helping hand and make their move as easy as possible.
Another thing that I absolutely enjoy is that we get to interact with people from all around the world. This is a unique opportunity that you might not get in other jobs. We learn so much about people’s traditions and culture. With each relocating story, we learn and strive to assist them better and better. People come and go all the time, but when you get an email of gratitude from a guest after their departure, it motivates me and gives me confidence that we, as a team, are doing a great job!
Congratulations on winning the ASAP Quality Certification for Ireland! How do you feel about that? We put a lot of hard work into preparing for this certification. We knew that our teams in Germany and Mexico had obtained it previously — that served as motivation to not let them down. We are so proud of our achievement.
In your opinion, what makes Dwellworks Corporate Housing so special?
I believe it’s the fact that everyone at Dwellworks are extremely friendly. It makes me so proud to be part of such a wonderful team! I have developed friendships with people around the world. People that I haven’t even met in person! This says a lot about our internal culture. We are also very friendly here in Ireland, everywhere you go. So, it’s all a great fit!
Who do you admire from the team?
I have been working with Dwellworks for two years. When I first started, I had the pleasure of being trained by Patricia Turek as she was over in Ireland. She was really patient and a world of knowledge when it comes to Corporate Housing. Justine Farrell was also part of my training, and without her, I wouldn’t have the “know-how” I do now. I’ve had them as colleagues and as mentors. These two women are an asset to Dwellworks, and I am very lucky to work with them!
