On the Global Team blog this week, we feature Silvana Pinto, Dwellworks Living Reservations Coordinator in our Costa Rica office.
Tell us about your role with Dwellworks!
I am a part of the Post-Booking Team at Dwellworks Living, our Corporate Housing brand. Once a reservation at a Corporate Housing unit is confirmed, we take care of both the back-end administrative side of the reservation (booking the reservation in our system, entering client and vendor costs, sending out required paperwork), as well as part of the front-end, which includes assisting our guest with anything they might need prior to and during their stay. We also work behind-the-scenes as a bridge between our guest and our supplier, making sure our guest feels comfortable in their home away from home.
What do you enjoy about your job?
One thing I enjoy about my job is helping people. Issues always come up in our day-to-day lives, but I can make a difference in someone's day through the client service I provide, and that to me is gratifying.
I choose Dwellworks every day because of the wonderful people I get to work with, both co-workers and suppliers. I still have so much to learn from them.
One of the aspects I like most about Dwellworks is the relationships you get to develop with people you usually wouldn’t have contact with. A few years ago, I was sitting on a beach in Costa Rica watching the sunset. I heard some rustling behind me and when I looked back, I saw three beautiful golden retrievers running towards me (or so I thought). I naturally kneeled down with open arms to receive their joyous energy. It turns out the owner of the dogs ended up being a very kind P&G employee I briefly assisted when he was relocating back to the US!
