For our sixth installment of the Meet our Local Leaders series, we interviewed the talented and passionate Suzanne King, Destination Services Director in U.K., to share her journey at Dwellworks with us.
Tell us about your role with Dwellworks?
Good question! Formally, my role supports the strategic development of the supply chain function in the region. In practice, what does that really mean? It means that I have the opportunity to support my brilliant team with the day to day running of the supplier networks in each country, making sure we have a fully functioning, well trained and successful network of suppliers. This ranges from our amazing Destination Services Consultants to our taxi, chauffeur and car leasing suppliers, our cleaners and our utility support partners. Most recently, we’ve been heavily focused on system implementation and network adoption, policy development and partnering with our Global Supply Chain team to drive regional alignment.
What’s an interesting fact about your role that people might not know, or what’s one thing you enjoy about your job?
There are lots of things I enjoy about my job not least having the real pleasure of working with so many talented people. What really gets me going is seeing and then realizing potential in our organization. Dwellworks is fast paced and innovative and I really enjoy being able at the forefront of creating and implementing change that keeps Dwellworks moving. I also love spreadsheets and data analysis, but that’s just between you and me!
