Written by Dwellworks Marketing | Apr 17, 2020 2:23:46 PM

For our associates, our clients, and everyone we work with, we're sharing tips to help keep you healthy, happy, and well during this challenging time.

We've all adjusted to a "new normal" — and it's clear these new routines are going to be around for a while longer. As we head into another month of self-isolation, these tips can help ensure you have what you need to keep trips outside to a minimum.

Build a Routine

You likely know what works for your family and what doesn't when it comes to routine. If you want to improve your daily structure, think about what's going to be the best use of your time. Don't forget to focus on when you can focus on family time and social activities — not just your work from home schedule.

Groceries

Feel like your grocery stock is running low? Check what you already have and plan your list accordingly. Many US supermarkets are still offering curbside pickup or delivery services:

  • Safewaypickup and delivery
  • Whole Foodspickup and free delivery through Amazon Prime
  • Walmartpickup and delivery
  • Harris Teeterpickup and delivery
  • Costcodelivery through Instacart
  • Targetpickup and delivery
  • H-E-Bdelivery through Instacart
  • Krogerpickup, delivery, and shipments
  • Aldidelivery through Instacart

Keeping a Healthy Home

Cleaning is already a chore, but it's more important than ever. Make sure you're using these tips to keep your home clean and safe.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. Think doorknobs, tables, light switches, handles, computers, vehicle door handles, steering wheels, keyboards, phones, and other handheld devices
  • If your surfaces are dirty, use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfecting
  • Not sure what disinfectant to use? Most common registered household disinfectants will work, but make sure you're using the appropriate disinfectant for the surface!
    • Use alcohol solutions with at least 70% alcohol content
    • Don't have wipes or sprays? Make your own household bleach mix to disinfect:
      • 5 tablespoons per gallon of water or
      • 4 teaspoons per quart of water
      • Follow manufacturer's instructions for application and ventilation
    • Clean your home environment by adding plants. They not only bring the outdoors inside, they oxygenate your home and provide a sense of calm
    • Many online garden centers are offering deliveries, try these sites to find a plant:
